Infant of Prague Statue #1
Infant of Prague statue dressed in Carmelite Habit
The Carmelite Friars’ Habit was hand crafted by Nuns of the Flemington, NJ Carmel. This was a popular Raffle item at the 2012 OCDS Congress held in Wakefield, MA—commissioned by Congress Chair, Loretta Gallagher, OCDS. It was won by a member of the St. Teresa of the Andes OCDS Community (Danvers, MA). Bonnie Doherty, OCDS generously donated this special statue for our 2024 Congress Raffle.

Infant of Prague Statue #2
Infant of Prague statue dressed in Carmelite Habit
In 2023, Loretta commissioned the Flemington, NJ Nuns to create another Infant of Prague statue for our 2024 Congress Raffle. We received a letter from the Prioress, Mother Mary Elizabeth (dated October 1, 2023, Feast Day of St. Therese of the Child Jesus). She informed us that the Carmelite Habit of our Beloved “Little King” was hand made with much love by Sister Rose Marie, who just celebrated her 50th Golden Jubilee as a Carmelite. This smaller statue is about 9”.

Carmelite Nun Doll
The nun’s habit on this doll was hand crafted by the Carmelite Nuns of Vermont. Bonnie Doherty, OCDS won this doll at a raffle during the October 2022 District IV Retreat and has generously donated this doll for our 2024 Congress Raffle Table.

Item #5: 10 x 18” St. Joseph Canvas print - donated by Bonnie Doherty, OCDS
This very unique image was painted in 2019 by the Maltese artist Adonai Camilleri Cauchi. Commissioned by Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC for his book "Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father," the painting depicts St. Joseph being assumed into heaven where a crown of glory awaits him. This is truly a one-of-a-kind image!

ST. JOHN PAUL II ICON
This limited edition icon of St. John Paul II is from the Karmel in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. The Sisters there are Polish so they have a special devotion to this Saint. The triptych icon is about 16” high. There is a very nice booklet in English that explains the images and symbols in the icon. The Saint is depicted wearing the Carmelite scapular.

St. Therese of Lisieux Dolls
Hand-stitched and made of durable 100% cotton and wool blend felt. Measures 13 inches tall. Therese wears a mantle and comes with a removable skirt (embroidered with a cross and roses) and a crown of roses. The inside fabric of her mantle features roses. Each doll is an original so there will be very slight differences. Spot cleaning or hand washing recommended only.
Two Therese dolls available — packaged in Gift Baskets with other Therese and Carmelite-themed items. These dolls are in very high demand and quite difficult to obtain. They are hand made by a Catholic Mom (Sanctus Stiches)—Offered for sale once a year around Therese’s Feast Day. They always sell out within minutes. We were blessed to have obtained 2 dolls last Fall that we reserved especially for the 2024 OCDS Congress Raffle Table!

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Dolls
